It is sitting right on the support that I thought I saw.

Looking at the S&P futures charts -- the trend is still up Still making higher lows. Look at the green lines I have drawn, specifically the lowest green line (one with blue arrow). That one breaks in next few days, week and we may have some issues.

It is sitting right on the support that I thought I saw. Look at the S&P Futures chart I posted It hit that nearest green line and backtesting the 2285 breakout. That small double bottom (with 2285 peak) already played out on Friday with the rally. However, there are other short term bullish targets that measure over SP2300 and we also have that large iH&S target of SP2450 It's just a question of how we get there So now, short term looking bullish as well as long term. I've always maintained long term bullishness as you know. The short term picture was the one that wasn't clear and markets were waving caution flags. But all that changed with Thursday into Friday's overnight move. Amazing how one overnight move into next day trading can change things. Keep in mind - they can always change it again even though charts show nothing but bullishness now. But charts showing only bullishness now (short and long term) now. IMO So assuming, no overnight black swans -- markets headed higher. IMO Hence, the reason why I daytrade only but I'm fortunate to have a schedule that permits me to daytrade.

Watch those S&P Futures -- I cannot post them every 5 min. lol
Whenever S&P Futures hits support - is the spot to short a little more of the SCAMs.
Also, BTW - since you have IB and I'm going to apply for an account with them again in next day or two -
Are you able to chart real-time VXX, TVIX futures?

VXX and TVIX futures? You mean like single stock futures? not sure what you mean yes You most likely need a futures trading account with IB to do so. Huh or anyone else? Any input on this?

VXX still working on another H&S. Gap fill ~19.20 and the possibility of that H&S failing not a concern unless rises over the shoulder test line ~19.40. VXX opening around that gap fill @ 19.20 would likely be an ideal short spot

Single stock futures have not seemed to pan out. I can't even get quotes for them anymore half the time, and IB was one of the main sponsors of that SSF exchange. I would probably just forget about them.
But yes supposedly IB has them and they are quoted. I just tried to chart one and nothing.
Now SSF seems to be all about the super synthetic Exchange versus physical derivatives that appeal mainly to institutional investors, it is more of an i rate thing.

VXX opening around that gap fill @ 19.20 would likely be an ideal short spot Thanks Huh. Walnut - nevermind the question. We can always keep using investing.com to chart VXX futures like Huh posted. My real time just doesn't kick in until around 8:30-8:45am EST. And I know investing.com is definitely not level 2 real time. Keep in mind -- going into today's trading VXX 19.20 is common gap. VXX 19.41 definitely spot to watch in case S&P sells but I doubt VXX will be over 19.41 today. Eventually down the road it will get filled along with the UPSIDE BREAKAWAY GAPs that VXX left behind. Just a question of how it gets there. At least for today and in short term, I still see VXX heading lower. IMO VXX 19.02, TVIX 5.20 VXX all time low 18.62 (currently) I always thought of opening an IB account for futures as well. Is there anyone here with solid futures trading experience?

Mist were you talking about VIX futures? yes IB has that
I have traded VIX futures several times.
That is how I used to safely stay short over night. I would keep a stop limit order to buy the correct amount of vix futures if the ES futures took off too high and crossed a price point.
There is really nothing special to futures, except that their bid ask spreads are much worse than we are used to.
