LOL RE: VXX - IMO, that pattern would become bullish if it were to now break above the upper line (~12.91) - in which case it would then target to ~13.39 I think the "noise" range for VXX this morning is 12.68-12.91 (top green line is falling, so ~12.90 if it waits to around noon to test it). A breakout either way then shows next ST direction.

Spot VIX could have a real problem here if its H&S pattern were to play out. Bulls could have a real problem if the pattern were to begin to fail with a rise >11.50. Patterns like symmetry, and those 2 breaks below the pattern have now been offset by 2 breaks above. Now time to see a break out of this 2 month consolidating pattern, one way or the other.

Volume in the 242 SPY put is the biggest so far today. Could be bearish for today.

For Walnut - Check your settings Chris VXX Daily chart Shows red hollow candle yesterday -- today's price action should at least cover the body of that candle So yesterday VXX opened at 12.69 and minimum move down in VXX today should be 12.69 Tricks of theMist BTW - those BBs are tight and means most likely a nice move is coming -- usually to downside Lower BB currently at 12.59

Covered 39k short VXX @ 12.69
With larger position sizes I want to get into the habit of scalping and taking profits more -- I didn't yesterday and it cost me a little when I had to close out in AH at slightly higher price (and after being up nicely on the day)
I want to get into the habit of scalping and should be pretty easy for me to scalp VXX for 10 cent moves -- that's 4-5k a day and should add up after awhile
