You could be waiting a very long time for that. Altho that would be the safe play... But if we keep going up that 200dma will move up as well...

Everything depends on what timeframe you are trading in. If you are trading for a month then the 200 dma is not relevant. The moving averages move up and down depending on where the price goes. They do not determine the price. The price determines the moving averages.

The 200 DMA is good for sharp sell offs. But not for average swings. You want to watch the 50 DMA. It dosent have to get any more difficult them that. You don't need to redraw your lines. They are just fine. If the price is far away from the 50, you want to wait for the price to come in closer. And you want to buy as close to the 50 as you can. If it falls below the 50 you should sell. Also, if the price is under the 200. The stock is now in a bear market.
