The last six weeks of road tripping nearly 6k miles through 8 national Parks, 9 states, and one Indian reservation have been one of the most rewarding, educational, and fun trips we've been on. Both the north and south rims of the Grand Canyon, Winslow Arizona, Horseshoe Bend, Monument Valley, the Mighty Five national parks in Utah- Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands,Arches National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, Salt Lake City, Grand Tetons National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Zion National park, Vegas and then back tracking to Salt Lake City, and then back to Vegas.
We took our time so we got to experience each place for its fullest potential. Except for the monsoon rains during our driving, everything went smoothly.

I think we are going to Northern New Mexico Friday for a few days, around Taos Ski Area. Usually this time of year that is a great way to escape the heat, but it has only been 80 degrees here this August.

I think we are going to Northern New Mexico Friday for a few days, around Taos Ski Area. Usually this time of year that is a great way to escape the heat, but it has only been 80 degrees here this August. That sounds like fun. I only made it out to the four corners area and barely was in new Mexico so it would be cool to see more of the state.

So SP hits a new all time high again and VXX stauls in 10.90 range. Jury still out to see if its just a pause and continues lower or actually means something. Markets are in uncharted territory. There are no more bullish targets to be met. Even the S&P ascending triangle target has been hit with SP hitting SP2490ish. August and September are the worst months for the markets and we are long overdue for a significant pullback/correction. 2 years ago in the last 2 weeks in August markets sold off hard and corrected with the VIX SCAMs doubling. I believe the cause was China. S&P can still trend higher to hit the psychological target of SP2500...we'll see... I still say markets are in for surprise pullback in near future. Time will tell. That's quite a spike on tvix from the lows. Back to my entry price. Looks like my trade was better than it was looking earlier when i left some on the table. It was looking it like it might keep going but finally there's at least marginal hedging going on.
