Yes, we are having below avg. temps for at least 8 days. Hopefully, it stays that way. Last summer was one of our coolest on record. And TG, we've had plenty of rain as opposed to Ca.

AUD new high aussie's on bloom sound depressed not good for a country that exports This might save US coal exporters but aussie's will most likely up production and sell even more coal at a cheaper price. reminds me of old Japan when they'd sell steel at a loss to BK our companies BTU ER today and yes they sold 1% more coal but still lost 72M

WTL +4%...after downgrade by T/R yesterday! Long term, I understand the downgrade. But today, looks like a nice squeeze.

ANR ER statement Metallurgical Coal The global seaborne metallurgical coal market has shown very little improvement over the last several months and continues to exhibit dynamics of an oversupplied market. While the third quarter metallurgical hard coking coal benchmark remained at $120, indicating that pricing may have reached a bottom, we do not currently see an imminent catalyst to spur a favorable pricing uptick in the near term. Increases in metallurgical coal production, primarily from Australia, continue to cause an oversupplied seaborne metallurgical coal market, with Australian year-to-date exports up 13%, or 10 million tonnes, to 90 million tonnes through June. After a reduction of more than 20% in the first quarter over the same period last year, Chinese import declines moderated during the last quarter, down 7% in April, 9% in May and up 22% in June, resulting in flat second quarter 2014 imports compared to second quarter of 2013. seekingalpha.com/pr/10685795-alpha-natural-resources-announces-results-for-second-quarter-2014
