I've been watching an indicator call the mass index, which seems to get good averages on spikes and reliable. But it did not catch this snap drop and even now it is saying stay out, I'm puzzled. In the past when it did that tvix will come back up.
I set the variable to '10' on tc2000

thanks Mist, that's super weird, my chart was showing the right price $15.91 or +3.52% on UVXY, I see the numbers didn't add up

Mist I would have covered and called that a win haha Indicators looking vague to me really I know lol I'm already passed my short scalp target with this move Thinking there's more legs though -- That 20dsma on VXX is a little tough (currently 34.41) But I think unlike Friday - I think holding will pay off today S&P Hourly indicators making bullish cross -- just waiting for 11am EST close out to call it a cross

tvix up above the main rising support and could fall to 8.30ish

I was going to say if VXX gets below that double top pivot (33.95) then could see minimum VXX 33.60 range, TVIX 8.20 range
Need S&P to rise further still
S&P double bottom pivot 2586.27

Good to take notes (for both of us) on this move Walnut
On S&P Hourly cash charts, indicators were bearish for quite some time and we had 2 gap downs in a row On Friday, S&P Hourly was flirting with bullish cross at the close
Today is 3rd gap down day in a row which went against Hourly indicators which were flirting with bullish cross (divergence)
and got the early morning move right today with buyers stepping in right at the open unlike Friday
as always, we need follow through and a solid close

I think that there is an old trend line I have drawn that seems to be acting as resistance at about 8.76, don't want to test that though
