Wasn't inferring would happen today (it could) But definitely in short term If does close the gap today, could be good spot to average in some short for a scalp saving dry powder in case closes morning gap to 12.99-13 I have to leave in few mins and will be back this afternoon so really not trading

Before I go -- it's good to memorize moves - something I try to do Look at VXX 15 min chart A lot of times the drops in VXX are very similar -For today, see how VXX dropped hard and was outside its lower BBs -then sidestepped it back in and bounced to tag moving avg -then came back down and made a new lod -then it rose up (with BBs now parallel and constricted) to just above the Upper BB that's where I shorted VXX (12.67ish) and covered at 12.57 for a quick scalp -and now VXX should be range bound within the upper and lower BBs for little bit longer before making another move Hope this makes sense - I typed it real fast and have to leave again VXX 15 min chart

Jim's video
Scratches diamond pattern reversal and now sees double bottom ('dip')
Double bottom, sym triangle
Jim's measures SP2468ish and I have mine slightly higher at SP2472ish That target range hits and get out of dodge if SP doesn't backtest the break prior to reaching target range
