It works until it doesn't Herc looking at the charts it has never failed.................it just takes patience.............I've been through two reverse splits..........only regret is not shorting more but all the fear out there my own included has kept me from doing it..............could have made a lot of $$$$ without even turning on my PC...........

shorted 11572 shares of tvix at 28.63 A perfect example of shorting the scams and staying short..............ride any waves as they come and collect profit when and if one wants one......... Today, while not irregular is not always so lucky with one day reversals that are so strong one way. But strong contango sure helps.

If you have a large position, your account balance could go to zero pretty easy, if you use much leverage, you could get a margin call in one day. Like I say, it works until it doesn't. You kind of have to guess right every day unfortunately. IMO

Huh - I just noticed differences in your S&P Futures charts and mine. Not sure why. Look back specifically at November -- the night of the elections (blue arrow). S&P Futures took a nosedive and then rebounded. I don't know if its settings on your chart S&P Futures Daily ChartI see that on the futures chart as well. My chart you're probably comparing it to was likely the S&P cash chart, and of course that long tail isn't in it

BTW - Way to go LV with holding TVIX short thru that spike
I wish though that VXX would have tagged 14.97-15 for a back test and gap fill so now it still leaves that gap on the table. What a waste of a spike - seriously.
VXX just had a little more to go and I would have been shorting it as well
But honestly wasn't in rush to trade today. Sitting on nice profits and had few things to do.
