I started lightening up my short VXX position to just 3000 or 4000 shares and learned to be comfortable staying short for up to a week or two at a time. Really works when things are right. Only way to catch some of those nice opens and they add up.

Really is awesome, just can't find the fibs. Many thanks to both of you. I cannot trade that way; just don't want to watch but always trade very small pos, usually 1000 shares tops, often much less. I really appreciate your patience with me; after all these years, I'm still a novice compared with you guys. I am thrilled making $200-300/trade! See ya tomorrow!

I'm comparing it to what I see quoted on TV as I type.
Seems to be slightly delayed from TV quotes. Read the disclaimer. lol "not necessarily real-time nor accurate"

I love that chart, but it appears to only update at the end of it's 15 minute candle, and so it is only good to use to review charts but not trade live with. Too bad, I sure hope they get their streaming charts running soon.

Seems to me that chart is about real time as it gets, without being directly plugged into the exchanges that is. As with live TV, I'm sure there's some delay for censoring. lol
Anyone know the ticker for Naz futures? It's not the NDX I mentioned before.

just heard back from Investing.com Technical Support. The reason for the upgrade is because Google will be phasing out support for Flash on Google Chrome in a few days. There also aware of some bugs that need fixing.
Here is a list of the indices you can put under my quotes -
Dow 30 S&P 500 Nasdaq SmallCap 2000 S&P 500 VIX Bovespa DAX FTSE 100 CAC 40 Euro Stoxx 50 AEX
If you have any questions, reach out to them. They responded pretty quickly (next day).

Thanks, Mist. I still can't find Naz futures, and no time to write them right now. If someone figures it out, let me know. Otherwise I'll write them later.
I'd also like to turn off the news indicators, and tweak the pattern indicators. Their chart looks to be only a modified version of the charts found at TradeView.com. Over there they call these Events and you can turn them off using:
[rightclick]/Properties/Events & Alerts tab
But Investing.com doesn't have that option here

I mentioned this one years ago, but here's what I use for seeing a quick glance of futures (although it's a mobile site, I use it for both phone and PC). It's the first thing I check every day, then I jump to the futures charts, then normal hour index charts: m.investing.com/markets/If you click on the heading 'Indices Futures' you can also see many more index futures, especially VIX futures

Anyone figure out how to get the ticker to show when in full screen mode so that its easier to see if futures are up or down without having to look at the chart?
It shows when not in full screen mode. I also wrote to their tech support. Hopefully, have an answer soon.

Do you mean the ticker entry box?

I would like to see the daily gain/loss for the day. I don't see that either place. Is this what you mean?

See how in small screen below you can easily see that S&P futures are up 4.50 (+.20%). In full screen, I don't see this. Not showing quote. See below. Also, just switched to real-time a few mins ago. Was showing closed.

See how in small screen below... Gotcha. Yeah, I couldn't find it either. Even on Tradeview.com, which is the full version of this same chart with many more options (such as watchlists, etc.) I couldn't find that option. I've just been running that mobile link I mentioned (https://m.investing.com/markets/) alongside the chart to get that info.

About midnight now and although the S&P futures chart says "closed" it is actually real time - or within 3-4 minutes of it. Not sure if I've ever seen an exact real time on overnight futures. These futures charts at investing.com are even more current than the CME quotes I can get which are usually delayed ~10 minutes or so. 7:50 and futures charts right up to the minute, even though it still says "closed" in the top right corner. More real time than any other quotes I'm seeing out there (CME, CNN, Marketwatch, Bloomberg, etc.)

Another tip: At that mobile site at m.investing.com/markets/ wait for the page to fully load. Then click on the 3 horizontal bars in the top left corner, then "Economic Calendar". It'll provide a list of all the major economic news expected for that day and their results as they are released. As you scroll down, a thin bar across the screen divides what's already been released versus what's to come.
