In a short term depression: - our little doggie aint doing so well - daughter & Hubbie and their maniac dog camping out while they change domicile - Cathy wants me to take down my trains - the USPS lost the painting I made of my grandkid and the soccer star for him to sign off - Continental's selling off (again) I'm going to treat the problem with a double Manhattan (later). Have a great day Gang!!! The rest of the tomatoes will shortly BE IN THE GROUND!!!! Wha-Hoooooo! : )

How in the world could the USPS lose that painting? My guess is someone has it. Can't they track it down? So sorry to hear all this. Unfortunately, CGOOF is on the list of the GDXJ sells in rebalancing. I'm sure it will turn around but how many years has it been now? Take care and post some pics of the 'matoes when you have a chance.

Take care and post some pics of the 'matoes when you have a chance. Good Q -mailed on March 20th the Ft. Knox mailing tube I made out of 1/4" thick walled high-density cardboard (stuff they use for rolling rugs in) with costing $35 first-class postage with 1) 2 copies of the painting (TG I didn't send the original - one for the Soccer star to sign off for the kid the other for him to keep 2) a letter requesting his action in explicit detail 3) a brown marker for him to use signing 4) a self-addressed mailing tube inside the tube addressed to my grandson's address 5) a foreign draft of 22GBP for postage and his trouble and even 6) a "Get Well" card for him after the recent injury!!! It was mailed here at the regional center and its next stop should'e been NY-JFK which is all the tracking systems got on it. It never got there - the USPS says I gotta wait another 2mos before they presumably reimburse my $35. Its lost - it was a long shot Harry Kane signing it in the first place but to not even get out of the country is a real bummer. GDXJ is dumping CGOOF in its entirety??? Now i understand why its selling off if so. 26yrs It'll be awhile before the tomato plants will be photogenic how about some lettuce? : )

I imagine you've already filed the standard missing package claim, but, if you haven't already, be sure to look into the Post Office Mail Recovery Center (MRC). I believe you can file a claim here at: amps.usps.gov/mpsa/lst. Also, here's a couple tips from someone who had a similar situation and was able to recover their package. www.diaperswappers.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-1255651.htmlSounds like a somewhat unique package (being a tube), so I'd imagine it should be a little easier to locate. If not, your work could end up being auctioned off to some stranger in Atlanta.

Huh - I was told that nothing can be done until 90days have elapsed since I mailed it on March 20th but thanks for the input. J

Personally, wouldn't take no for an answer. I agree with Huh, go to P.O. and file. This blog says some are only held for 90 days...possible whomever you spoke with either didn't know or didn't understand your question. GL: blog.stamps.com/2012/05/29/how-to-find-a-lost-usps-letter-or-package/If I were you , I would start immediately on Mon. morning.

He was right about that last move in the markets down, then up to new highs, so here are his thoughts/charts on gold: news.goldseek.com/GoldSeek/1493129220.phpIt's too soon to buy, maybe cycle low next week...sure looks that way this AM.
