10 things in tech you need to know today 1. The president of Lyft says car ownership will "all-but end" in cities by 2025. "We see car ownership as a burden," he said. 2. Fox is suing Netflix for allegedly poaching employees. Fox claims that Netflix is encouraging its employees to violate contracts in order to go work for the streaming giant. 3. Here's our side-by-side comparison of how the iPhone 7 camera compares to the Samsung Galaxy S7. The iPhone can't quite keep up. 4. Tesla's updated Autopilot is rolling out this week. The update is expected to be released on Wednesday. 5. One of Apple's companies in Japan was ordered to pay $118 million (£90 million) in tax. The unit has since paid the amount, reports said. 6. Sony finally responded to controversy over "No Man's Sky." Sony's President of Worldwide Studios says he understood why fans were frustrated. 7. "The Grand Tour" will launch on Amazon Prime Video on November 18. It's the new motoring show from Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. 8. The iPhone 7 has a barometric vent where the headphone jack used to be. The new iPhone is water-resistant, which messed with the device's built-in barometer. 9. Uber held a "pool party" in London — but taxi drivers found a way to crash it. The Licensed Taxi Drivers Association parked a giant, anti-Uber message directly across from the swimming pool. 10. Microsoft will close Skype’s London office. Most of the employees in the office will be made redundant. www.businessinsider.com/10-things-in-tech-you-need-to-know-today-september-19-2016-9

10 things you need to know before the opening bell Home prices in China were up again. Prices rose in 64 of 70 major cities compared with a year ago, with Shenzhen price growth slowing to up 36.8% year-over-year in August from up 40.9% in July, Reuters reports. A Fed rate hike is looking unlikely at this week's meeting. Fed fund futures data compiled by Bloomberg shows just a 20% chance that the Federal Reserve will raise its benchmark interest rate at Wednesday's meeting. The data shows a 55.2% probability of at least one rate hike by the end of 2016. It seems more likely that London will lose its "passporting rights" with a Brexit. Jens Weidmann, the president of Germany's central bank, says London-based banks will lose their right to operate in the European Union if Britain leaves the EU because they are "tied to the single market and would automatically cease to apply if Great Britain is no longer at least part of the European Economic Area." Venezuela's president says an OPEC deal is close. Nicolas Maduro thinks OPEC and non-OPEC members are close to reaching a deal that will stabilize the oil market. West Texas Intermediate crude oil is up 1.4% at $43.64 a barrel. Putin's party scored a big win in the election. With 90% of the votes counted, Putin's United Russia party had secured 54.3% of the votes and at least 338 of the 450 seats in parliament, AFP reports. The Russian ruble is stronger by 0.7% at 64.8517 per dollar. Australia's stock market opened 90 minutes late. It wasn't until about 1:30 p.m., or 3 1/2 hours after the usual market open, that all listings were available to trade as a technical glitch prevented them from opening. The biggest hedge fund in the world is worried a Fed rate hike could mess everything up. In a note to clients, Ray Dalio's Bridgewater Associates said, "Cyclical conditions point modestly but not strongly toward tightening, and the secular backdrop screams that the risks of tightening prematurely outweigh the risks of falling behind." Fox is suing Netflix, accusing it of poaching employees. "As our complaint explains, we filed this lawsuit because we believe Netflix is defiantly flouting the law by soliciting and inducing employees to break their contracts," Fox told Business Insider in a statement. "We intend to seek all available remedies to enforce our rights and hold Netflix accountable for its wrongful behavior." Stock markets around the world are up. France's CAC (+1.4%) leads the gains in Europe after Hong Kong's Hang Seng (+0.9%) paced the advance in Asia. S&P 500 futures are higher by 9.00 points at 2,141.50. US economic data is light. The NAHB Housing Market Index will be released at 10 a.m. ET. The US 10-year yield is unchanged at 1.69%. www.businessinsider.com/opening-bell-september-19-2016-2016-9

I think Monday's gonna be an awesome day ES_F up 10 points to 2142.50 but that's only a drop in the bucket in the bigger picture. I'd like to see it up in the 2170's at a minimum ND_F (Naz futures) looks like it could be setting up for a 4% up move to ~5,000, support around Friday's close It would actually be a strong bullish indicator if futures lost these gains and then recovered

NVAX final FIB support from Friday's low is 1.28/1.29. That's the entry/support to play against if swing trading it long

GPRO up decently this morning, but has resistance ~14.77. However, if it could hold over that, then good chance it could climb to ~17.80. GPRO up more nearly 5% to ~15.70

Apparently it was back in June, though I never heard about it. But you should receive a special dividend in the form of shares of XLRE in lieu of the adjustment. That special dividend is paid on 09/22. And coincidentally, some of the big home builders just so happen to be reporting this week

...ND_F (Naz futures) looks like it could be setting up for a 4% up move to ~5,000, support around Friday's close It would actually be a strong bullish indicator if futures lost these gains and then recovered and *POOF!* those Naz futures gains nearly all gone Now we just need it to do one last teensy weensy little thing once this backtest is complete... GO STRAIGHT UP!

NQ_F (Naz futures - sorry it's NQ_F, not ND_F) struggling with the backtest here because of AAPL. So need to wait for AAPL's LOD which should come either in the low 113's, or ~112. Watch that IWM support as well as those two may coincide if the market pulls back enough
