its magic how they get futures to rise on nothing.
From a technical perspective it's a thing of beauty, at least if you're a pattern fanatic like I am, and definitely something to study though you likely won't see it again for years ...
S&P Futures
1min chart - a bullish pennant, preceded by,
5min chart - a bullish ascending, broadening bottom (a rare pattern), preceded by,
30min chart - a H&S getting squeezed (the previous pattern is its RS), preceded by,
60min chart - a double-bottom (all previous patterns above this one), preceded by,
5hr chart - a larger H&S possibly getting squeezed (the one I showed yesterday), preceded by,
Daily chart - an even larger H&S getting squeezed, a H&S-RS-Squeeze (previous H&S formed right at head test of this one), preceded by,
Weekly chart - an even larger, 2yr old H&S
This is one reason why I'd now view any new high as a blow-off top
Of course, need to see these 5 most recent patterns squeeze/play out. Resistance is 2074, support 2061.25. A break either way should get a good sized move.
