Strangest thing, all those avatars on ST of the 'pros' wearing their suits and cheesy smiles - all the smile's are gone. Go figure. (I guess they finally updated all those 10-20 year old photos today)

To me, the scariest thing about all this recent action isn't the indices, but rather that the commodities aren't rising against a falling dollar. It's called deflation. Certainly hope it doesn't turn into depression. Gotta love the Yahoo Headline: Panic is Never a Good Idea, But Now Especially...lolol.

Hmphhhhh! Continental barely saved its 3.00 support at the close - BFD. wish they'd start feeding it some steroids. Even still, I'm still rooting for ya. I even sold my DUST this morning only to try and help you out! Like I said earlier, currencies still working to your advantage, at least for now. And then there's the two supports that GLD held today (still >neckline and >50% retracement with that close): Although I'm nearly certain gold hasn't seen it's long term bottom, that doesn't mean it can't squeeze this obvious H&S a little bit more. And remember me mentioning something about that large call buyer in GLD 121? (btw, draw the FIBs from the top of the head. See where the 76.4 FIB and LS peak sit?) However, if GLD were to lose that neckline again, I'd have to drop my pom-poms. Sorry.

Thanks Jack. Won't be taking any short positions just yet. Gotta expect the PMs to go down as it's Jackson Hole week for the Fed...forgot about that today.

The 2.31% the ES is up in after hours does not look very impressive on the chart, since the charts scale has been knocked out of whack by this huge market sell-off. But I would benefit some if this market will calm down and bring VXX back down below 22.
IB says that my account is up $2k after today. But I know that aint so. This morning the bid on some of my spreads was -.51 and the ask was 4.06 crazy crazy
In other words prices don't exist anymore. Normally about .04 spread.
I think things will get back to normal pretty soon (VXX < 20)

Should see at least another 400 in addition to that very soon (ES ~1970)
