"Kohl's same-store sales nipped by cold February, shares fall"Say what? Did they not heat their stores this year or something? The cold excuse has become nothing more than a cheap ass excuse anymore used by everyone...............people still have to go to work, shopping and other events that cannot be excused for weather conditions........................If the country was paralyzed with sub 50 below weather for one month..............I could understand it, but as we all know that is not the case............. JMO and BOL............ Who has ever stepped outside after a winter hibernation and thought, "At last! A nice warm day. I can finally do some indoor shopping!"?

"Strong gapping upwinds have been confirmed in areas such as SPX, QQQ and even as far away as NFLX due to the El Icahn Effect'. Please be advised that these winds can be very damaging to a bear's portfolio and the damage left in their wake can go unfilled for a short amount of time. It is best to avoid them when possible. If confronted, ignore them by looking away. MM's are currently working to restore their folio allocations that have lost power. It is anticipated that the market weather will return to it's normal supply/demand once this power has been restored."

C will finally break out over the iH&S neckline with this gap up. I think the pattern likely fails soon after.... C already forming a bearish pattern across the top of that neckline -- and I mean right on it (would prefer to see a closing confirmation before shorting it though - or more of the upside targets hit in the other indices/names)

KNDI tagged support with that LOD. Should bounce one more time. Next time it loses today's low, downside target is low to mid 5's. (currently @ 10.60) Bounced nearly 6% immediately after and down as much as 22.5% in the 2 days since. Does anyone take advantage of these short calls? They're about the only calls I get consistently right.

I just read the article, it is because the board is considering putting it up for sale...with YHOO as a potential buyer which will not happen.........up on fluff and not fundamentals.............unless sold, this will come crashing back down............ JMO and BOL.......... Yep, like MSFT buying CRM. I saw a few other companies were rumored to be buying them as well, including AAPL. When you see a stock pop because of a potential buyout by a certain company, but then other companies start popping up as potential buyers, it's most likely MM's unloading and news agencies doing the reporting are in their pockets. Exactly like what happened with SODA last year. Avon Says Private-Equity Bid a Hoax; Here's the SEC FilingThe fact that there was an official bid filed with the SEC, and that it turned out to be only a hoax, just goes to show you that there's a whole lot of people involved in these fake acquisition pops (isn't the SEC the entity charged with protecting investors from this kind of stuff?) SullyCNBC Colleague went to 125 Broad St, London. No PTG Capital listed & guards never heard of it. So there you go. $AVP Kind of kills your faith in the entire markets system, doesn't it? (it should)

Give me 212.90 and I'm out of my SPXL. I don't care if we run more. Sure, the view is beautiful up here. But it tends to make you unaware of how thin the air is

The markets system isn't the only thing I have no faith in...lost it long, long before any AVON antics. But I continue to play as it's the only game in town. Right? Miss Piggy saw my order to sell AAPL @129.07. Piggy Algos stay corpulent on pennies.

OMG, you have got to see this article from Forbes about the Avon manipulation today. Keep in mind that ~$100 Million traded hands within minutes after this report was filed. In a nutshell, it basically implies that the false SEC filing today for a takeover should not be considered fraud. Why? Because it was designed to trick algos, not humans. OK, first of all, that's still fraud! If I find a way to manipulate money using an ATM, transferring other's money to my own account, why would that be fraud? I mean, ATM's are only algo based, aren't they? Duh But get this; how do they come to the conclusion that it wasn't designed to trick humans? Well, because there were typos in the filing. Sometimes the fake takeover company "PTG" was transposed as "TPG". So if a human had read it, they would/should immediately know that the report was fake. Yep, that's right. Typos mean it shouldn't be considered fraud because "anyone" would of course know that it was a fake report. Duh (BTW, I've seen many typos in legit SEC filings) Think I'll walk into a bank tomorrow dressed as Warren Buffet (professional makeup and a governing agency issued ID) and ask to withdraw all "my" assets. I'll be sure to do it locally though since no one would actually believe he would be doing this outside of Omaha. Of course, even if I don't succeed, it won't be fraud on my part. Wow. LOL. This market's gone to hell.
