DDD hit the support line with that LOD. Wow. 2% pop in seconds. Too fast for me. At times I wish I were an algo.

Looks like somebody threw 1/2 Mil $$'s at DDD for any price up to 28.00 after it lost that 27.40 support for an instant.

Happened again Huh. Another quick bounce up. Just got back and saw that. This time saw at least twice as many shares as the time before. Somebody building a large position, or covering. Either way is bullish. Let's see if it can hold. Over 28.00 would be bullish. It shouldn't go any lower than 27.62 if it's to end higher today.

Yes, those pops are bizarre...now only 27.58. Very strange trading, crooks are up to something.

Honestly, SUNE is a much better purchase for l-t.

Honestly, SUNE is a much better purchase for l-t. Agree completely, so long as SUNE can hold that near support. To be clear, I'm seeing large bearish patterns in nearly every name and sector out there. Most of these long plays we're discussing, I think they're very short term, if they happen at all. Only dead cat bounces for most of them. For example...DDD closed under the neckline of a large H&S today (chart below). Now only a buy over 27.50 (that's a little higher than the neckline, but better to be safe). So why would I be looking for a long? Only because I believe the market has one more high to make and I'm looking for potential squeeze patterns that might help get it there. As an example, if DDD were to squeeze here, even if only to create a proper right shoulder, the target would be ~47. If I'm wrong about a last squeeze, many of these names will be hit hard. If I'm right about a squeeze, these "squeezers" will be quick $$. So why am I only playing topping patterns? Well, try to find something out there that isn't in the second half of a topping pattern, or already confirming one like DDD here. You'll likely end up with saaaay...AAPL, which I believe is on the first half of a topping pattern. What names do I think are not in a topping pattern, and a buy after more downside from here? JCP, NOAH, BABA...not much more than that. But see the pattern? Either already way oversold (for good reason); or Chinese/non-US equity.

Great stuff Huh. Thanks. I do agree with a squeeze. GL Now we only need to wait for confirmation of a squeeze, if it comes. Easy play from here. Can finally use a conditional order. Couldn't before - needed a trigger order to set-off a conditional order, and I couldn't think of a way to do that, not with Ameritrade anyway. If filled, hard stop under that neckline.

Here's the type of thing I'm looking for to signal a potential squeeze...a close like this one:

DDD: So much for relative strength. Crazy action in this small range. I'm perplexed with this one, though I guess I shouldn't be. It did hit all the downside targets. I told a friend yesterday to set his bid for 27.15, then later on I told him to cancel it. He's not going to be happy with me. (at least not today, we'll see about tomorrow)
