Panic is certainly setting in with Swiss franc news being considered a black swan. I'm telling you to PAY ATTENTION to M. Armstrong's supercomputer Socrates. . Does he really use a supercomputer? "I know supcomputers. Supercomputers are my friend. What he's got ain't no supercomputer." (parody on what Sen. Lloyd Benson said to Dan Qualye over JFK during the VP debates way back when).

FIB supports for this bounce now 2005.50 and 2003. Upsides resistances now 2011 and 2014. The window narrows.

Overnight futes suggest we should test that 2020, too. It did right after the open, didn't it? You mean it should again? You're right, my bad. Hadn't looked close at the opening prints to see that, just took a cursory glance. Everything looks pretty weak right now. Still wouldn't be surprised at the OPEX thingy moving us up, but right now SPY 200 is looking like the magnet regardless of which side of it we are on. Can't play a market like this unless you are a skilled daytrader sitting on a fast computer. I can't do that with an old 3G smartphone whilst I "work".

Yes, and he named "him" Socrates. That is why he says he is able to forecast without emotion.

SPY 200 not so magnetic anymore, lol. Still can't believe with OPEX and all this bearishness that there isn't a housecleaning rally in here about now.

Mr. Owl, how many bounces does it take to get to the heart of a bully bull's bullish hope? A good question. Let's find out. A One... A two-HOO... A tha-three... CRUNCH! A Three! (each bounce in between smaller than the prior) But the world may never know.

Lots of nail-biting bulls out there hoping for a reversal - maybe they'll be right - but it sure isn't in the charts now. QQQ's and the "A-Three!": ...and the three should be very small and very fast. Lots of air down there.

OPEX might (might) be the only thing to prevent a black Friday.
