Silver looks OK for now though. I'd expect SLV to get back up ~16.81 for the gap fill. That should bode well for gold also. Unfortunately that could be a bearish pattern backtest for SLV when it does. Gold could be attempting to build a small ascending triangle here. >1234 would target a little over 1240. However 1231 is the support for it. Lose that and downside target is 1213. The expected bearish pattern backtest for SLV lines up with the 16.81 gap fill at today's close.

Wow, SPY floundered a few mins at the open, then shot up 70 cents in 1-2 minutes Felt like a PPT move. Fins fairly strong too. Somebody gonna make sure this does NOT fall today Remember the SPX $7 rule? SPX almost always sees +/-7 before the real direction is determined. And SPX futures hold to this +/-7 most of the time. I never even consider futures unless it moves more than that in either direction. Today's high so far was +7.03.

I agree with doing good, but there comes a time when these individuals have to take responsibility and know that they are not dealing with just a common cold..........I sometimes think that some of these individuals just don't give a shit if they put millions of others at risk while trying to help others....... The market *feels* a little fearful, like there are too many geopolitical concerns right now, but there seems to be a concerted effort right now to prevent another drop.

Or a concerted (& desperate) effort to keep selling near the highs before the next drop occurs.

He tried to do good, but his poor judgment probably set back the fight many times over. That asshole should've self-quarantined himself. ANYBODY coming back from that shithole should be quarantined. When are these assholes gonna start wising up? (rhetorical question I know).

JMO and BOL........... My point............. In the days before Spencer fell ill, he went on a 3-mile jog, went to the High Line park, rode the subway and, on Wednesday night, got a taxi to a Brooklyn bowling alley. Bassett said he felt fatigued Wednesday but not feverish until Thursday morning.
I like what the one Congressman said that all individuals should be quarantined for at least 21 days when visiting such spots..........I don't give a shit if they don't like it.............sex while HIV positive is considered a weapon, how could this not be treated the same way especially when it puts so many more at risk.... After the HUGE amount of debate and interest in this subject, it is hard to believe that there was not some official protocol established, about something as basic and obvious as doctors and nurses coming back to the states. I don't want to be one who always says "it's Obama's fault", but good grief. This goes straight to the top. What a damn fool.
That director of the CDC John Howard is a pinhead too.

Gotta run. Market's going to obviously slosh around for a bit now before confirming next direction.
As for all the other individual names I mentioned keeping an eye on, those that haven't already failed are already showing the warning signs of weakness.
But I also know that the potential for a monster squeeze is also great. So most importantly, watch RSX <20.89 and VIX >18.60's. I really believe that should those two get broken, the market is vulnerable to a potential black swan-like event (actually more like a 'grey' swan in this case).
Check in later and BOL all!
