Wow. FAS/FAZ hitting those 4% marks every day now. This sort of volatility is always the sign of a major top or bottom. Unfortunately, you have to take a w.a.g. guess, or throw a dart, as to which one it is.

I'm staying out of this market for a few days. Neither side safe right now. Unless you're an experienced day trader glued to a screen with a fast connection, you're asking for financial castration right now. GL all. Keep your hands, feet, and all other protruding surfaces and appendages inside the car at all times I still think we'll squeeze for another high in SPX, but I don't think I'll be buying any indivdual names until some of these things hit their downside targets (F, XLE, IWM etc.)

It could get crazy here in a bit. Seeing potential for SPX up to 1951.50-1952.00, and down to ~1913 or lower. Knowing MM's, they could hit both of those within the space of an hour if they wanted. Had the right idea yesterday, but wrong upside target and (therefore) timing.

UUP isn't exactly rallying. Only a little green - which increases the odds of a short term buyable bottom coming soon.
Problem is, many of my buy targets are failing already.

Interesting how Jack's tomato has been received with open arms, yet that Assimov dude from yesterday was met with somewhat of a coolish reception..... I don't know Crum. Have you seen the size of that dude? I wouldn't want to mess with Jack's tomato...

S&P futures chart look like yesterday's bullish move could fail. Rolling over and a gap below ~1933 (which would be equivalent to ~1940 in S&P). I wonder what Dino's seeing. Dino sees a buy in AMD. In at 3.00. Playing bottom of horizontal channel and oversold conditions. Small position for da scalp. ES 4hr broke out of it's small down channel for the second time yesterday. Looks like this is just some consolidation above the 50 and 20 day sma. Kind of looks iH&S ish as well. No worries being long unless it gets back into that down channel again imo. View AttachmentES back testing that small down channel for the second time. If we close inside, good chance of a gap down tomorrow imo.

Seeing a potential bearish pattern target for XLF ~22.35. Under 22.80 would confirm.
Coincidentally 22.35 is where it's 200dma should be in the next 1-3 days. (wish I knew how to project the timing on those dma's better)

SPX failed bullish breakout (my fingers are getting hot) SPX worst case support for yesterday's up move is 1942.80. Lose that and all of yesterday's gains will likely be wiped out, and then some. But it already has a H&S pointing a little below that support. Did you notice the SPX high on that last bounce?

clintonBy it's action, looks to me like AKS is getting bought up. Can you run your OBV magic on it & see if that might be the case?

SODA's green. Anyone buying it?
Muhahaha
Heavy resistance in the 21.50's (rising wedge & 61.8 FIB). Could possibly overshoot to the 21.75-21.90 range.
