You guys are probably thrilled not to have my 2c here for a few days. Interesting action today with many miners + even as the spot gold/silver were down (silver ended +). Especially watch RIC +7.88% today...looks like it should definitely have bottomed but this is a dangerous week for the metals with Jackson Hole and Ms. Yellen speaking on Fri. Not sure whether anyone is trading these.

Still interested GDX Novie. Thanks. GL Please wait a bit, watch carefully. The PMs ALWAYS decline when the Fed meets as in this week in Jackson Hole. Gold broke below support @1290 today which is a concern. Armstrong advising to "stay on our toes" as he expects more volatility going into Sept. Certainly, if one were watching the global situations, one would expect gold/silver to be much higher. Maybe toedip after this week or even wait a bit longer. Some of the miners are already up substantially since they bottomed...others, not so much. I have a personal advisor that also suggested GDX/GDXJ. This is a l-t hold and there will be corrections. Of course it's all fwiw. Best to you Birth! Hope things are going well for you.

Thanks Novie. Hope you're doing well too. I've been super busy and only do drive-bys here unfortunately. Haven't had time to do anything in the market but planning to soon. Hopefully will have more time in the next few weeks. Still not trusting this market. I see GDX is down to 26... hmmm? THanks for your posts to on PMs.

Another miner I like a lot is SBGL which was $3.72 last Aug., now 9.60 and pays a 4% divi. Always, fwiw.

Nice bear trap this AM...let's see if it holds...they usually pull the spot prices back during lunch (11:30-12:30) and then after London closes. But then they usually run the markets UP into a holiday week-end. Interesting: gold/silver surged at the exact nanosecond that the dollar dropped. Gotta watch those bots!

Totally forgot it's ME so they weren't going to let 'em close positive. Most miners closed positive tho. RIC +6.9%, +160% YTD!!! Too bad I noticed this one so late. GL all and have a great long week-end.

GDX testing important support here ~24.16. (61.8 FIB from 05/29/14 low) GDX overshot a little (~1/2%) but nice reversal off that support area & back over its 200dma.

Looks like a bearish mini-me-deja-vu forming in silver (SLV); Under 17.95 again would confirm bearish. Until then, 18.71 is the ST resistance.
