GDX support sits at 23.89 over the next few days. Resistance 24.50. Well defined consolidation range over the last week. Bounced a few cents early (23.92), but getting near that 24.50 resistance. Crazy as it sounds, I think it's likely to break out higher for a very short time. Expecting 25.10-25.25 before pivoting down again.

(gotta show the missed ones as well) HOD was 23.90, right at the previous support. Break over that and it should go on to break over 24.50. But need that resistance broke first now.

GDX tagging that 23.90 resistance hard in pre-market. Needs to get over it to turn bullish for a bit. Otherwise 23.50 & 23.10 are next supports.
I'm hoping it squeezes higher.

Broke out and filled the gap from Wednesday. Support is now 23.94. Don't want to see it lose that. I missed my JNUG buy by 3 cents.

If it can manage over that one, 25.30's is where I would have sold had I gotten filled. 23.94 is still the must hold support.

2 bull flags in GDX since it broke over that 23.90 resistance. GDX's weekly is a beary flag consolidating, but on the daily sorta like a mini-bullflag (since 4/21)

Gold futures have a nicely formed descending wedge going on. The iH&S is still in play as well. Descending wedge breaking out right where it should but not on a lot of volume. Could be the start of a nice bullish run in gold. Let's see if it holds...

You know how they hate gold Jack! Maybe it'll "explode to the upside" tomorrow! I was surprised to see this today with divi coming up and spot Gold up. This is one of the few I sold way back when for a large profit. Of course PPP went up since I sold it all last week.

I'm surprised Gold isn't rallying considering the current pattern in DXY - large H&S. This should be bullish for Gold and perhaps even equities (though equities seem to more closely follow USD/JPY recently):
