LOL Huh. Why don't I feel that this bounce will hold?? Thank goodness I sold most a few weeks ago but in keeping with my love affairs with my positions (that doesn't sound right!), still have a little bit. Not at all...I'm sure there are a few of us who would be intrigued by your positions. Bwahahahahahaaaa! Have a great weekend Novice & Gang!

Hey Huh-- Your 2.02 is inching closer believe it or not. Think it hits that after the 20th. GL I'd be surprised it if doesn't bounce big here soon, between here and the 2.80's - the previous all time lows. Down about 38% n the last month. Would think it would take a rest from the downside for a bit. And that day was the low for NBG. Up nearly 12% since. Unfortunately I never got filled, missed it by 4 cents. Coming up on FIB & gap resistance ~3.27/3.28. Need to see how it performs there.

You were right Huh. Nice call with the bounce. I'll be watching 3.28 area as well.

If long from 05/15, up about 25%. I'd be cautious of NBG now. Friday's high was a 61.8 retracement from the 05/05 high. This bounce may be near completion.
Over 3.66 would get 3.83, the next FIB up. But at resistance right here & could turn. 3.50 is the support to watch now.

I like the action in NBG but I bought it large at 2.96 and sold that at 3.46 Of course it annoys the hell outta me that it kept going up!

European stocks could have a nice recovery here with negative interest rates and other bambozzlements. I still own 334 shares of this. It may have hit its high for awhile at the EOD just like TGS did. Unlike Maxi, I paid waaaay too much @4.14 and sold some at 4.48 due to this thread.

Nan, just watch the moving averages. I am very tempted to buy this again just not this week. Then again if the damn thing starts again tomorrow I just might try it again.
Prudence says to wait for it to plateau.

That was a bullish close for NBG. If long, be sure to use <3.62's as the worst case stop. That's important support now. (<3.83 is a minor support).
3.62 would be a good entry point, with a tight stop, as it would be a gap fill. Unfortunately, there's also a gap at 3.22, but to get there would fail the FIBs and mean lower lows likely.
Top BB sits around low 3.90's, so wouldn't chase it there unless it proves itself first.

If NBG can rise over 4.19, good odds it runs to 5.20-5.50.

Wow, big move down on that news. They must be shorting after getting their clients to buy, lol. And the Euro is way down too. So it's counterintuitive.

Hmm.. So I stopped out even. I am hair trigger over all time highs anyway. BUT it could be that fund managers had to sell out of one fund and into another so WHATEVAH!

I'm going to take a wild guess here that I can buy NBG back at the 50 dma where I sold it last time which was 3.46 so anything nearer to there would be preferable to an idiot highs of the market.
